Prior to booking your shadowing day, please read all of the below information regarding eligibility, payments, cancellations and more.
ELIGIBILITY
Who is eligible to shadow?
Participants must hold an active license in their state: PA, RN, NP or MD.
The shadowing experience focuses on aesthetic services and therefore we do not recommend it for estheticians at this time. We will announce additional opportunities for estheticians soon.
Do I need specific certifcations to shadow?
Because this is a shadowing experience, and NOT a hands-on course, the only certifications required an active license in their state: PA, RN, NP or MD.
Do I need aesthetic experience to shadow?
While it is ideal that you have some aesthetic and anatomy knowledge base, Emily does not require hands-on experience to shadow.
Is there an approval process for candidates?
Yes, upon booking, your registration information will be reviewed by out team within 3 business days. If for any reason we feel you are not a fit for our shadowing experience, you will be contacted and refunded.
For this reason, we recommend not booking travel or accomodations until you receive an email from our team confirming your booking. Payment confirmation should not serve as a final confirmation of your booking.
PAYMENTS
How do I pay for a shadowing visit?
Payment will be collected at the time of booking.
Can I do payment plans?
No, unfortunately at this time we do not offer payment plans. Payment is due in full at time of booking.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards.
SCHEDULING + CANCELLATIONS
What is your cancellation policy?
No refunds will be given after 3 days of purchase. Rescheduling of your shadowing date made less than 14 days prior to the event will be subject to a $500 rescheduling fee per registrant.
In the event Skin Clinic School cancels your scheduled experience, or a force majeure event beyond control prohibits any events from taking place in any fashion, The Skin Clinic School may, at their sole discretion issue refunds or credits to attendees to attend a similar event at a future date.
What happens if I need to reschedule?
In case you should need to reschedule your shadowing experience with 15 or more days notice, contact us at shadowing@emilyrockwellskin.com or 302-652-3587. We will do our best to offer a comparable event on another date within three months of the original booking date, free of charge.

OTHER HELPFUL INFORMATION
What is the typical schedule for a shadowing experience?
8am- Skin Clinic day begins with team huddle - breakfast will be provided
9am- Patient appointments begin. Appointments observed will vary between Full Facial Balancing, Single-area filler, Botox, Sculptra, Full Face Assessments + Follow-ups.
Afternoon- Lunch will be provided
4pm- Patient appointments conclude
4:30pm- 15-minute Q+A session with Emily
Photo + Video Policy
Photos and videos are encouraged during your visit. However, we ask that you not capture any patient treatments. Please see our patient protocol below for more info.
Patient protocol while shadowing
During your visit with us, you will observe real patients of the Emily Rockwell Skin Clinic as they receive treatment. To protect the privacy of our patients, we ask that no videos or photographs be taken for this reason. Additionally, professional behavior and etiquette should be practiced at all times.

Transportation recommendations
Emily Rockwell Skin Clinic is located just 30 minutes from Philadelphia International Airport. We recommend Uber or Lyft services from the airport.
Can I receive treatment during my shadowing experience?
Providers wishing to receive injectables during their visit should inquire beforehand by emailing info@emilyrockwellskin.com. Services must be booked ahead of your visit, and will be charged the full amount for the desired service. For our current price list, please visit our site.
What should I wear during my shadowing experience?
All participants should wear medical scrubs, preferably in black if you have them.
